  1. Wow…looking at the empty dark streets made me think a cataclysmic event had taken place. Desolate, empty of life, just the naked streets and lights. Way too quiet for me. I was surprised by the way it made me feel. Cities are busy and moving and filled with sounds and life and seeing it this way made me feel like I was looking at a sci-fi film and not a happy one, that’s for sure. So strange, I was glad to see a person but not the person alone at night with the umbrella and all the dead streets. A horror movie waiting to happen. Cities shouldn’t be dead, even in the rain. Too scary and creepy for me. LOLOL Really had an effect on me. I don’t ever want to be in a place like that.

    • I am sure these pics were taken in the middle of the night in Atlanta. That one scene on Peachtree Street ( if you have read or seen Gone With The Wind) is unusual as that street is always teeming. Thank you gigi!

  2. What a blissful melody, Holly, to celebrate one of nature’s biggest blessings. The effect is all the more amplified by animated pic of quivering leaves. The rains, it’s fallin on my head, and I am drenched…

  3. It’s been spitting in London, I don’t call it rain down here it’s much lighter than in Manchester or Glasgow! It buckets Down there combined with wind so you can’t keep your Brolly 🌂 up☔️.

    Loved your poetry too.
